Arin Aboulian, MD, FCCP

​Dr. Arin Aboulian​ moved to Glendale as a child with his family and is a product of the Glendale public school system. He completed his undergraduate education at UCLA with a double major in History and Molecular & Cell Biology. He received his medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Science and Medicine in Chicago. He returned to Southern California after medical school, where he pursued specialty and subspecialty training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, earning triple board certification in Internal Medicine as well as Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine subspecialties. He has been on staff at Adventist Health Glendale and Glendale Memorial Hospital since 2012 and co-founded Altitude Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates with Dr. Shant Shirvanian in 2019.

Shant Shirvanian, MD

Fellowship trained in pulmonary and critical care at Cedars-Sinai.
​Dr. Shant Shirvanian​ attended Medical School at Ross University, where he graduated with Highest Honors. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, where he was elected and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Shirvanian obtained his subspecialty fellowship training in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in all three categories. Dr. Shirvanian currently practices Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Adventist Health in Glendale and co-founded Altitude Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates with Dr. Arin Aboulian in 2019.

David Wilhoite, MD

Dr. David Wilhoite is a triple board-certified Pulmonary and Critical Care physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with complex lung conditions and critical illness. He specializes in the evaluation of lung nodules, advanced bronchoscopic procedures, and minimally invasive diagnostic techniques. Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Wilhoite earned his medical degree at East Tennessee State University and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Emory University. He went on to complete fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he developed an interest and received training in cutting-edge bronchoscopic technologies.

Dr. Wilhoite believes that excellent care begins with listening. He prioritizes clear communication, thoughtful decision-making, and strong partnerships with patients and their families. His goal is to ensure that every patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their care plan. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, live music, sports, and exploring Southern California with his family and dogs.
